It would be good if you can show your leather finish types.
The refinish is best to match the original finish types.
Black leather finishes could also be in these various finish types:
1] Pure Aniline
2] Semi Aniline
3] NC Pigment
Pictures you see is identified as 3] NC Pigment finish specially for Napa leathers (typically leather from sheep/lamb).
The refinishing is done with color (Pigment-84) follows with topcoat (NC Topcoat-78 satin or matte).
However, used leather has to be cleaned of surface contamination prior to refinishing with Degreaser-2.2 follows with Rinse-3.0
Softening of the leather is done with Hydrator-3.3 follows with Fatliquor-5.0.
