Default Leather Sofa has gone Dull on the Seating Area and any Material Sticks to it!

I have a leather sofa that has gone dull on the seating area and any material sticks to it.

When we sit in the leather we stick to it, any material sticks to it and so flecks of material have been stuck in it too.

The shine has all gone as well.

I had a leather soap-cleaning product that came with the sofas that I used.

When that ran out I just used soapy water, I think that caused the problem.

Used to do it every 2 months or so.

The finish originally was shiny; if you look at the side cushion on the photo of the whole sofa, you can see the original sheen.

Is there a kit or some products I can buy to restore it and stop us sticking to it?

It does not feel sticky, just a bit rubbery but after 5mins of sitting on it, your clothes have stuck to it.

Recommended procedure for the above mentioned problems are suggested as follows:

A] Removing of material that are stuck to the leather finish:
A1] Spray Cleaner-3.8 and brush with both the horsehair Brush-3 and the Eraser-4 to get rid of the flecks of material and extract with cleaning sponge.
A2] Rinse with Acidifier-2.0 and extract with cleaning sponge.
A3] These two above process should remove most of the sticky material.

B] Prepare the finish for Topcoat refinishing:
B1] Apply Degreaser-2.2 and clean with both horsehair Brush-3 and the Eraser-4 to remove contamination from previous incompatible products; then extract with cleaning sponge.
B2] Sanding at this stage helps to reduce lumpiness and also to remove hard to remove flecks if any.

    C] Leather Structure Rejuvenating:
C1] When above phase A] and B] is satisfactorily – without the stickiness and surface free of fabric remnants, proceed to rejuvenating the leather for suppleness when dry. Take note that the leather has to be absorbent to do this rejuvenating process, otherwise skip entirely.
C2] Spray Hydrator-3.3 to check that the surface is free of surface tension and absorbency is of even appearance.
C3] Follows with Fatliquor-5.0 to spray evenly and control with foam brush, subsequent application is recommended as the water contents evaporates, until the leather is saturated upon application.

D] Leave the leather to perfect dry:
D1] Mist spray the Hydrator-3.3 one more time to drive-in any strays of fatliquor on the surface. This is necessary so as the fat and oil will not interfere with the topcoat adhesion ability.

    E] Dry Preparation:
E1] Dry preparation is done with going over with the sandpaper so that the topcoat has the ability to bite into the existing finish.

    F] Topcoat Application:
F1] Topcoat application is done with airbrushing / foam brushing / plush brushing to reduce streaking if possible.
F2] Sanding in-between topcoat to reduce streaks is an option.

Note: If stickiness persists, at this stage, the topcoat will require a booster to strengthen it due to water element within the leather. Crosslinker-25 is recommended, a adding of up to 10% into the topcoat for additional application will eliminate the sticky problem. It is only upon the satisfaction of the finish topcoating non-stickiness after a few days that the final non-stick protection is applied.

    G] Non-stick, Rub-resistant Protection:
This is done with Protection-B+ when the topcoat is completely dry.
Note: This non-stick protection is only applied after topcoat is without the sticky problem when completely dry.

Products mentioned are found in this kit:

    Crosslinker-25 is an optional add-on

    Leather Doctor® Crosslinker-25

It's super-concentrated and when incorporating 1 to 10% to the topcoat it will significantly boost adhesion.
By creating a tougher film that also ties up some of the hydrophilic elements.
This product is available in 30ml and 60ml.
    Instruction:
    1] Mix and stir simultaneously.
2] Use topcoat within 8 hours.
