    Default Bicast Leather Finish Cracking!

    Hi there
    I found your information on repairing bicast
    mine is doing the same its dark brown can I purchase a kit with the compound stuff repair at home

    The film lamination is deteriorating and to do a color repair would require a degreasing and when doing so may cause more weakening film to be removed at the same time. We will not know when the delaminating will end until the degreasing job is done. If you are prepared to see the worst of the film being removed, so be it, so that the new coloring have a better grip on the base.

    Another consideration is that coloring will be without the texture grain that resembles the laminating film. It is just plain as plain as the base is.

    The recommended kit is using Kit B6.xt

    We shall go further to discuss the best way to block off the yellow base, if you wish. . .
