This is my husband's favourite chair, given as a gift from his uncle. The surface was already decaying at that time but we just covered it with a throw blanket. Now that I have some time on my hands I would like to go about stripping it back and preserving the leather in it's natural colouring. The green topcoat is peeling quite easily in the high contact points but less so in other areas. What would be the proper way to do this?
