    Default Chanel Python Bag

    I have a red Python Chanel that needs to be shiny.

    How can I do that?

    I have cleaned it well but it still looks flat.

    To restore a shine to your red Python Chanel bag, you simply need to apply a gloss topcoat to it.

    Cleaning alone will not shine up, however, degreasing cleaning is the first step to remove greasy soiling that may interfere with the shine coat adhesion resulting in blotchiness or poor adhesion that wears out easily.
    Any surface stain has to be removed too to even out the luster appearance, as this is a transparent coating, and the beauty and the ugly surface will all show through.

    The second step is to rehydrate and recondition with fatliquor (fat and oil) so that the dry-scale curls lay flat.

    Here is the recommended kit - Aniline Leather Topcoat Refinishing Kit A6.tc for your further reading.

    >>>Picture #1

    The skin around the logo looks dry to the point of dry rotting.
    The darker spots may be a grease stain.
    The white residue may need a leather eraser to remove.

    >>> Picture #2

    The light-dark spot may need a leather eraser to lighten up with a light stretching technique.

    >>> Picture #3 & #4

    Will need Degreaser-2.2, and Acidifier-2.0 working with a combination of leather erasers to remove the dark and white soiling residue.

    Further questions are welcome!
