Default Longchamp bag has glaze that is crackled

I have been looking for something simple that I can use.

Bought this bag second hand and didn't notice the crackled finish.

I don't think it is deliberate and moisturizing does not appear to help the appearance at all.

Is there a way to remove this crackled finish?

I don't mind elbow grease and appreciate any insight.

    Thank you in advance

    >>> Is there a way to remove this crackled finish?

This cracked finish can be repaired by applying Leather Adhesor 73 with in-between sanding to smooth it.

You would need a fresh color with Aniline Coating Dye 76, and seal it with Aniline Gloss Topcoat 76G or you prefer to have a more luxurious satin waxy feel with Aniline Waxy Satin Topcoat 21W.

The matching topcoat would either be Leather Protector B or Protector W for the waxy topcoat.

The product system mentioned is found in this Aniline Leather Redyeing Kit A7.cl

And could be adapted to your particular needs.
