What you need is bamboo skewers and a Leather Doctor Stripper-2.3.

The bamboo skewer is to agitate and loosen up the dissolved glue marks.

The Stripper-2.3 is to dissolves the glue mark but is also can dissolve the finish of the leather. Therefore the Stripper-2.3 has to be adjusted (with distilled water at a consistent ratio, testing at 1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3, to get the right strength not to damage the leather finish) so that it is safe on the leather finishes and strong enough to break up the glue marks.

Practice on hidden areas before you proceed, as the finish removal becomes permanent.

I have removed some brown glue marks. There are some pieces of the leather that were stuck and peeled off when I opened the pocket. How do I remove these pieces of leather?

Soaking with Hydrator-3.3 and when becomes soft, you may try using bamboo skewers.

    Ok! Thanks.

I used the leather eraser yesterday and some tiny bits of the leather came off. Shall try the hydrator and skewer.
