    Default Kate Spade purse

    hey roger this is pat, We have this expensive leather purse that came in i guess the customer wiped it with a baby wipe and either pulled color or stained it. i was a little nervous about this one so was curious as to how you suggest i proceed.

    Check if the stain is from the inside or directly from the outside.

    Ask what was the cause of the original stain.

    Baby Wipe is alkaline, so may have compound the original browning.

    Use a low pH cleaner system using a cotton swab to test with ProCleaner-1.5 > Acidifier-2.0 system, it should lighten the stain if it is pHn related.

    Otherwise it could be any liquid from vegetables, fruits, plants, herbs, cola, etc.
    It could be some sort of “tannin” derived stains. If so, use TanninCleaner-3.5 and follow with Acidifier-2.0 as rinse. Then saturate the stains and the entire bag with TanninCleaner-3.5. This is a redox (reduction-oxidation) treatment, so it will take an overnight chemical reaction when dry for an inspection.
