    >>> I’m in need of suggestions for restoring the surface of my sofa cushions.

What appears on the surface is the result of dryness of the leather structure and it has to be restored from within the thickness of the leather.
Cracks is just like broken strings or fiber network or broken sticks and rejuvenating itself will not mend the cracks. It will need repairs after restoring or rejuvenation.

My recommended sequence of procedure to general restoration is as follows:

1- Accumulated soiling has to be removed to an acceptable level.
Mandatory is by Degreaser-2.2 > Acidifier-2.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system in preparation to removed oil and grease stain for AnilineTop-76 top coating.
Any known stain is removed accordingly during this initial wet cleaning.

2- Original fat liquor (fat and oil) content need replenished to reduce dryness or plumps up the leather with fullness of fat and oil.
This rejuvenating system first hydrate to relaxed the shrunk fibers prior to replenished the fat and oil content to an average of 14% when the leather becomes dry by Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system.

3- The secondary wax pull-up effect is also replenished, to revive the pull-up effect and restore the natural luster of the wax.
    This is accomplished with EffectWax-8.6.

4- This is a repair option to consider how the cracking response to the fat liquor and the secondary wax effect.
Will talk about it when we see step-3 above.

5- Original gloss luster effect is accomplished with AnilineTop-76G.

6- Protector-D+ follows after AnilineTop-76G and is ready to use when dry.
