Yellowing Calfskin
Hi Roger,
I was hoping for your advice on my white calfskin wallet that has been yellowing. This was bought second hand and I'm assuming the yellowing is from daily use but I did hear that some white leather tends to yellow naturally overtime. I wonder if there is a way to bring it back to it's original white color. Also, the left side of the wallet has water damage and lost shape and I'm curious if the fatliquor-hydrator steps would help to somewhat restore it. I previously used the meguirar's leather cleaner/conditioner right after the water damage but it seems it didn't do enough. I'm thinking of buying the V3 kit for my vachetta on a different piece and wonder if any of those products could assist in breathing life into this wallet.
