    Default Vanopdenbosh Pigmented Ottoman

Roger, We need to repair the ottoman, it has some cat scratch and a shallow slice which looks like it was scored with a razor blade. There are also a few paint spots or ink spots on it too.

I want to order 1 quart of dye because she has matching furniture. I'm quite sure we want Micro-54, let me know after you get the sample.

Micro-54 is the closest from pictures, and most likely a satin topcoat MicroTop-54S would match as well, in this system: Adhesor-73 > Micro-54 > MicroTop-54S > Protector-B/B+.

If possible, insert a flat plate below the repair, Bond with Bond-3D and weight it down to flatten down the perturbed edges to avoid any sanding when cured.

Apply Bond-3D under the flap and press to flatten it.

I would use a smooth waxed paper from the reverse of self adhesion shipping labels.

As for inserting a metal piece, this is only practical if there is opening especially for typical seat cushion.

Use Thickener-48 up to 10% by weight.

1- Make sure that the received custom color is mix very well as the heavier color had already sank to the bottom.
2- Transfer to the spraying container and mix up to 10% of Thickener-48.
3- Stir them up again at each interval to reduce color separation.
4- Fast drying in between coats also reduce color separation.

Let me know if further tips is necessary.
