    Hi Roger

I've brought the B7 Kit and I wanted you to review some of the pic of the sofa before I use your product - please review and advise best course of action to remedy the sticky sofa.

    thanks

This Bicast Leather Sticky Topcoat Refinishing Kit B7 has been proven by other previous users from this forum to be successful in remedying their leather sticky problem.

The backrest pictures #1 and #2 show deteriorating finishes which will require a color repair and refinishing that is not covered with this Kit B7.

A quick fix to repair the surface is using a range of appropriate sanding grit to reduce the distorted finishes and continue with the procedure given in the kit instructions.

Let me know if you wish to discuss repairs and color refinishing.

Pictures #3, #4, and #5 should have the fabric lint stuck completely removed and refinished to almost showroom appearance.

The surface will be further improved with a non-stick buttery feel experience better than a showroom condition after Protector B.

Here is a copy and paste instruction on how to work with these products:

4: How to work with Degreaser 2.2 and Acidifier 2.0 systems?

4.1: Degreaser 2.2 has to be shaken before use.

4.2: Degreaser 2.2 is transferred to the horsehair Leather Brush 1 or Eraser 4 before working deeply with brush agitation and eraser traction action to remove accumulated soiling.

4.3: Suspended soiling is extracted using a lint-free towel and the folding sides are changed until the towel appears clean.

4.4: Acidifier 2.0 is sprayed and worked by brushing and erasing, then towel extracted until folding sides are clean. Check for reduced tackiness otherwise respray and let the acidifier pH balance any remaining alkaline residue. Repeat as necessary for improved tackiness. Let it dry or blow dry with a hair dryer.

4.5: Rough surfaces are smoothed with appropriate 1000/2000 grit sandpaper and rinsed clean, free of dust and lint, with a towel.

4.6: Let it dry, or use a hair dryer to blow it dry. It is now ready for top coating.

5: How to work with the Bicast Top 76G and Crosslinker 25 system?

5.1: Bicast Top 76G is swirled or shaken well before slowly adding to the Crosslinker 25 and mixed thoroughly before adding more. Continue to swirl the mixture for 5 minutes. Allow the mixture to react for a minimum of 30 minutes before using. For best results premix cross-linker/coating 2-4 hours before applying. This will ensure optimum catalyst reaction time and flow/leveling performance of the coating during applications.

5.2: The mix is transferred to the foam brush and applied in a circular motion to avoid streaks on the prepared surface and let dry.

5.3: Subsequent coatings are applied until the desired gloss luster is achieved and let overnight dry for curing time.

5.4: The average of 3 coatings of Bicast Top 76G (4oz) covers approximately 40 square feet.

5.5: Allow at least 48 hours for a complete curing time before use.

6: How to work with Protector B?

6.1: Protector B is sprayed and spread with a folded lint-free towel, let dry, and ready to use. The leather scent version is Protector B Plus.

Let me know if you need further clarification.
