Wax Pull-up Sofa - lost the lovely polished waxed look!
I have a wax pull up sofa. It's looking dry tied and old. How ever I like this look.
The sofa was very dirty. So I cleaned it with saddle soap....( you'll probably go mental at me.) But that's no stripped all the wax finish off it.
Then I've use a leather cleaner to hopefully neutralize the ph and take any any soap residue. I must say it has cleaned up well.
Then I've applied a wax pull revival cream. Which has made the leather nice and supple and put some life back into it. How ever it has changed the colour and lost my preferred distressed look. Never mind.
But the finish is still Matt. I've lost the lovely polished waxed look.
How can I get this back?
I have only treated 1 half of the sofa so far and you can see a clear difference. Left hand side has been treated.
