    >>> How long will it take to restore it?
It depends on the detailing scope of work accepted.

Pictures show grain damages to several places and repairs as required will improve the structural integrity of the leather, however its appearances suffers as repairs will show inevitably, thus a color refinishing is highly recommended.

To return the leather to near show room condition into a semi-aniline finishes a color matching micro-pigmented coloring is necessary (unless it is black to black with Aniline-76 system, thus retains it original characteristic). There are two choices either with a Micro-54 system or a Napa-84 system that are opaque in appearance unlike aniline, which is transparent. Napa-84 would be a better choice, both in color coverage and also impart a warm buttery feel a highest quality among pigmented finishes and closer to aniline then Micro-54 system.

The scope of work recommended is as follows:

1- Restorative Cleaning to remove surface soiling off the leather finishes with Prep-4.4 > Clean-3.8 > Rinse-3.0 system
2- Ballpoint ink stain and print transfer stain removal with CleanDye-7.9 > Clean-3.8 > Rinse-3.0 system.
3- Degreasing body oil, grease and sweat to strap and top edges with Degreaser-2.2 > Acidifier-2.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system.
4- Hydrating the entire leather thickness to completely relax tension and moves suspended soiling to the surface.
5- Softening the leather with original tannery fatliquoring system with Fatliquor-5.0.
6- Repair skin abrasion to smooth skin with Adhesor-73.
    7- Matching color coating with Napa-84 > NapaTop-84 system.
    8- Non-stick, rub-resistant protection with Protector-B/B+

We will do a complete restoration to the strap, so you can see the result before we go into the body.

And we will show how it been done with pictures in progress.
