Bicast leather worn finishes

[Questions!]

I have a black leather loveseat and chair purchased in 2008, and the finish is flaking off something terrible. Please see attached photos.
The furniture is leather, but no doubt it’s a cheap split hide.
I am wondering if I can purchase a kit that can be used to restore both these pieces.
Any insight you have into what I need to use would be appreciated.
