Default Chanel bag - new piping is completely scraped off!

    Hello,

I have no idea how this happened, but I found the leather on the corner of my bag completely scraped off. Please tell me there's a way to repair this!

Repair is done with leather Bond-3D (Bond-7A to smoothen when dry) with donor soft lambskin fiber as filler, the same fashion or technique as fiberglass repairs.

Caution is the slight darkening effect that may be visible on this medium range color and not an issue if it is black.

Black leathers will gives the best result for color appearance.

The end result will be smooth and just like a scar on our skin that darkens (when we have fare skin) that also becomes stronger and becomes part of the leather.

The slight abraded areas will need AnilineTop-21 to smoothen it that also amplifies the color without need for color touch up.

Unless the abrasion is deep and coarse, Adhesor-73 is used; caution here is the slight darkening effect that the existing color may not tolerate prior to AnilineTop-21 it.

    Protector-B+ helps reduce wear.
