I am interested in using leather doctor to remove an ink stain from a briefcase of mine.
The briefcase is made of harness leather and is naked without any protective coatings.
The stain came from a drop of black cream shoe polish that fell on the bag accidentally.
Do you have any products that can remove this stain?

This is probably the best picture of the stain.
I'll send you one more as well.
As I mentioned, because there is no wax finishing or protective coating, it appears that the ink in the shoe polish has effectively re-dyed the briefcase.
While this is disturbing, I worry that most commercial cleaners will strip the briefcase of its original color (as you mentioned), making the problem worse.

If you think there is a low risk way to get rid of the stain, that would be great, but if you think that there is a large risk of damaging the leather, I think I can learn to live with this stain.

Thanks for your help
