The simplest most effective way to remove these oil spots is to use Degreaser-2.2 follows with Rinse-3.0.
These “vachetta” leathers are highly pH sensitive and absorbent therefore the products pH is a vital consideration.
Second is the technique to feather out the spotting to the entire panel and rinse evenly hydrated.
Fatliquoring is mandatory for a richer hue, softening and strengthening the leather all in one go.
Note:
Always keep Degreaser-2.2 air-tight and shake well to gel before application.
Degreasing:
Step 1. Direct apply Degreaser2.2 to saturate into the penetrated oil spot and rag extract out the oil, reapply and let it dwell 10 to 30 minutes or before it dries and rinse with Rinse-3.0 to see the removal effectiveness. By looking at an angle event at the now bigger darkening spot will be able to tell if the oil spot is gone. And it is easier to continue while the spot is still damp into the entire seating panel.
Step 2. Thereafter airbrush to feather out the spot to the entire seat panel.
Step 3. And continue a lighter airbrushing throughout the entire chair accordingly.
Airbrushing or Spray-Gun adjustable nozzle shape is to achieve an even application with the flexibility to zoom in or to feather out seamlessly.
Rinsing:
Hand sprays Rinse-3.0 to saturate and rag extract until towel show clean and suds-free to a squeaky-feel with even appearance.
Inspection:
Check if the stain is gone, otherwise repeat.
Fatliquoring:
While the leather is fully hydrated and extracted after Rinse-3.0, it is time to spray on Fatliquor-5.0 and foam brush it into the leather structure.
A second application will help to improve evenness of hue.
If there is more than one chair in a set, I suggest using the same product system to all of them to have evenness of appearance throughout.
Non-Stick Protection:
Leather Scent-D would be the appropriate draggy tactile feel for vachetta leathers with the classic leather scent.

1. I used prepclean2.2 & prepclean4.4 on both chairs, but this one did not clean up like the other one. What should I do?

As for this chair, the stain type might be different.
Try this spot removal process for protein stain.
Step 1 – Apply d’Protein-11.0 with cotton swab and let the solution penetrate as deep as the stain and let it dwell 30 minutes. Extract with paper rag and inspect to see if the stain moves. Rinse with Rinse-3.0 to further extract suspended stain and feather it wet throughout the entire section. Leave it dry and inspect the result. Take a picture and post it.
We will see what the next best move is.

Still no success on removing the stains. Is it possible that we can try to bleach these stains out? What are our other options?
