This easy rubbed off of the colors is first from wearing off of the transparent topcoat; subsequently without this topcoat that seals the color, it becomes very vulnerable and will remove more easily when wet rub with water or cleaner.

This fashion pigment effect has 2 layers of colors; first the primary color is typical mono-tone and opaque in nature and it is much stronger as compare with the secondary translucent color. The secondary color usually is a random application from 2 colors to create this two-tone effect using matching Antique-27 color system. The topcoat is using Micro Topcoat-72 gloss, satin or matte to match existing luster.

Prior to the optional color restoration a corrective cleaning is recommended to remove foreign contamination with the right strength without over removing the already weak finishes. Thus its recommend to test out the strength of these products: Prep-7.7, Super Cleaner-4.9 or Strong Cleaner-4.3; thereafter any sticky residue if any is removed with Cleaner-3.8 and Rinse-3.0.

However, during the restorative cleaning observation reveals that the leather is absorbent, then it is recommended to hydrate and fatliquor replenish it prior to color refinishing.

A rub-resistant protection helps reduce friction wear with a natural buttery-feel would be the answer to prolong the wear to the leather with Protection-B+.
