Do not expect an instant dye transfer removal from Prep-7.7!
How long was the dwell-time?
Bear in mind that dye transfer stain does not happen instantly too, it takes time to penetrate into the leather finish - may need equal amount of time for the reverse.
Other faster removal includes Degreaser-2.2 and Stripper-2.3 - when these 2 products are used you have to prepare for a refinishing at least the topcoat, then it depends how deep the dye have penetrated colorcoat may be necessary and these fast removal may become more messy to rectify the leather finish.
Prep-7.7 by far is the safest and has been proven to dwell up to 3 days to have an effective removal yet safe to the finish.
I will still choose the slow and steady product that has proven track record, rather than a faster removal that may whack the finish.
Another option is to use Bleach-10.3 and again it still takes time to bleach out the dye stain.
Note:
Even though you may wish to recolor and re topcoat, the penetrated dye stains need to be removed; otherwise it will wick up to the new surface.
