How to remove red wine from leather jacket?

Use this d'Tannin-3.5 as found in this specialty remover collections for the red wine removal.

Pictures #8 & #9 are probably facial makeup stains. A light even application of Prep-4.4 would probably do the job with fine horsehair agitation in between the grains if any follows with Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.

The rest of the jacket after the red wine and the makeup removal may follow a general cleaning with Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.

Leather Doctor® d’Tannin-3.5
It’s for Pigmented, Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck, Suede, Hair-on-Hide and Woolskin leather types.
This is a pH 3.5 aqueous leather-safe tannin stain remover.
It’s for removing cellulose stains such as coffee, tea, wine and some dyes.
Stains that derive from plants will probably be removed with this product.
This product is available in 60ml, 250ml and in quart.

Instruction:
1] Test for discoloration on a hidden area - check when dry as it may strip some dyes.
2] A thorough cleaning is necessary for compound stains prior to application.
3] Apply by dropper, cotton swab or spray then extract with absorbent towel until towel shows clean.
4] Allow natural drying for chemical reaction to take effect, repeat if necessary.
5] Rinse residue with Rinse-3.0 to a healthy squeak.

We were unable to remove the wine stains. Are we able to dye the jacket to cover the stains? If so, what is the procedure? What kind of dye do we need?

We were unable to remove the wine stains.
I suggest you test out with d’Tannin-3.5 again, if its wine it should be removed.

Are we able to dye the jacket to cover the stains?
To cover the wine stain with the “same” color you would need an opaque pigment rather than a transparent dye.

If so, what is the procedure?
Using a 3 inches PolyBrush will do the job.

It’s for soft lambskin and napa garment leathers; that forms a discontinuous breathable film for wearing comfort.
This is a lacquer emulsion high performance color coat; strong against UV light than standard pigment.
To provide a more color consistency than aniline dyestuff with its buttery softness warm characteristic.
Standard colors available in Black-412, White-405, Tan-486, Ochre-484, Maroon-402, Yellow-436, Orange-404, Red-454 and Blue-440.

Instruction:
1] Prep clean - use Prep-7.7 follows by Cleaner-3.8 then Rinse-3.0.
2] Leather rejuvenation – use Hydrator-3.3 follows with Fatliquor-5.0.
3] Paint pad in a light circular motion avoiding streaks.
4] Blow dries prior to subsequent coat.
5] Topcoat protection - use Topcoat Napa-78S for Satin or Napa-44G for Gloss.

This is a soft nitrocellulose lacquer emulsion topcoat.
