This would be talking about general surface repairs prior to refinishing.

As such, we shall proceed with the wet prep and leather rejuvenating (Prep-7.7 > Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0 > Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquot-5.0) prior to repairs.

The advantage is that the dyes in the structure would wick up to the surface that makes the scratches contrasting color less noticeable; the flaps would be more relaxed are slightly stretchable so that repairs gaps is less noticeable; however have to be careful not to remove fibers or flaps during the wet prep.

Besides the scratches; picture #3 show abrasion wear to the finish or finish have deteriorated by cleaning solution or other liquid; this area deteriorated finish need partially removed with Razor-60 and/or wet sanding paper (1000 grit).

Picture #11, shows flap from scratch; this should be clean one direction avoid removing the flaps or dangling fibers.

Repair with Leather Bond-3D:

Apply Bond-3D with the help of Spatula-6 while the exposed fibers is still damp after Fatliquor-5.0; fibers dampness allows flaps to be stretch and softer texture to work with.

Gaps that need to be heal is best to be filled with leather fibers in conjunction with Bond-3D (use Razor-60 and scrape from the suede side from sample patch or trim from hidden dust cloth) rather than using the stucco (that gives too much of contrasting color that need too many layers of color to block-off).

Note that when Bond-3D dries and need resurfacing; use Bond-7A to soften and rework the smoothness to look like a natural healing mark; without the need of resorting to destructive sanding.

Replacing the white color stucco with the reverse side same color fibers with Bond-3D will facilitate your coloring process.

Show us some picture of your work-in-progress!

Note:
Two-Tone (random) is created by 2 primary colors; side by side in a random fashion.
Two-Tone (antiquing) is created by a lighter primary color as the first layer with a darker translucent secondary color as the random secondary color.
This is an work of art with color creativity - you are the "leather refinishing artist" - hate it! or love it!

Good to see these work in progress pictures - the "Wet Prep Stage".

How long did you dwell the Prep-7.7? - I would prefer to do it the end of the day and continue with Cleaner-3.8 the next morning - that would have sufficient dwell-time to penetrate, lubricate and suspense accumulated soiling especially between the grains, creases or wrinkles. What do you think?

Looks like there are strays of fatliquor that was unable to penetrate the finish;
if it is so, option is to redistribute them into surrounding absorbent structure exposed areas by working with Hydrator-3.3; or rinse off with Rinse-3.0 ready for "bonding repairs".

Do you find the overnight hydrating and fatliquoring do rejuvenate the leather structure in this case (as it seems that this leather is not absorbent to a degree)?

Try bonding repairs by using Bond-3D with fibers (Scrap from suede side) without the Stucco-90

Thereafter the entire surface is fine sanded (1000 grit to etch the existing finish for better anchorage or bite ready for the Adhesor-73 coating.

Note:
Avoid uneven tension when wrapping with plastic; otherwise we create unnecessary creases.
Creases are work out further after hydrating by stretching cross-wise.

Should I spray on Adhesor or brush it on?

Adhesor-73 should be padded (or rubbed) by hand for better anchorage or bite into the existing surfaces.

Airbrushing or compressed air spraying follow with colorcoating and topcoating for better appearance (avoiding streaks).

For two-tone fashion refinishing - its your choice of padding or airbrushing; topcoating is still preferred to be spray for better appearance.
