>>> Water resistant Leather upper and
A luxurious, natural wool lining.
The above typically refers to sheepskin and natural sheepskin or shearling has a natural suede side refers to as leather.
>>> yes i do believe it is a suede with a mat surface, here it is the details about my boots:
From your first pictures, it shows that the naps of the suede is completely shrunk or crushed with fugitive dyestuff and foreign contamination wicking to the surface. Salty water just like seawater may have a pH about 8 and is the cause of destabilized the leather originally pH value between 3 and 5, thus discoloration from the dyestuff and stiffness from original fatliquor leaching out.
Procedure for a holistic restoration is as follows:
1. Dry Soil Removal:
Eraser-5 is used to exfoliate damaged naps to bring forth a new nap.
Exfoliating also removes surface wick up soiling and fugitive dyestuff to a degree.
Suede Brush-3 will set the nap to a “finger writing effect”.
2. Wet Cleaning:
Clean-3.8 is applied by spraying and working over with a combination of Eraser-5 and Brush-3 for an even appearance and towel extract until towel shows clean.
Acidifier-2.0 is used for pH balancing the saltwater alkaline overexposure and rinsing. Spray agitate for an even appearance and towel extract until towel shows clean.
When wet the suede should have a squeaky healthy feel, when it is still tacky or slimy Acidifier-2.0 has to be applied and let it dry until dry for pH balancing the pH integrity of the leather.
3. Restoring Shrinkage and Shape:
Unwanted shrinkage, wrinkles and shape of the boots is restored by stuffing the boots to keep in shape or using a show tree to hold the shape while the leather structure is stretch with the help of Hydrator-3.3.
4. Fatliquor Replenishing:
Fatliquor-5.0 is replenished by spraying and working the fatliquor into the leather structure. As the moisture content of the fatliquor evaporated up to 25% moisture level more fatliquor is replenished until the leather reach up to 14% to give the best of suppleness with softness and strength to the leather.
5. Foreign contamination will continue to resurface and when crispy dry again, the surface is erase with Eraser-5 and Brush-3 to reveal a soft finger writing effect.
6. The final application is to apply a silky-feel protector to shield against sticky soiling. Applying to the wool interior makes the sliding in and out of the boots effortlessly.

Leather Doctor® Kit-S3.ws, suede water-stain removal kit is design for water damage restoration. Most often, water damages from alkaline contamination manifest as stiffness and ring marks when dry. Suede is an amphoteric protein fiber and alkalinity influence shifts the protein fiber from ionic positive (+ve) to negative (-ve), thus losses the attraction between the ionic negative (-ve) non-amphoteric leather constituents like the tanning agent, dyestuff and the fatliquor. These entire ionic negative (-ve) leather constituents break hydrogen bond with the contaminated negative (-ve) protein fiber and move to form a ring edge. As the fiber is empty of fat and oil it becomes stick together when dry again. Restoration involves removing of surface soiling, recharging the protein fiber ionic positive (+ve), relaxing stiffness by penetrating and separating the stick together fibers, redistributing and even out the leather constituents from the rings and surrounding areas, and replenishing leach out fat and oil for suppleness and strength. The finishing includes nap exfoliation to a silky finger writing effect. The sequences of process includes the surface residue is brush with a brass suede Brush-3 and erase with suede Eraser-5. Cleaner-3.8 cleans and Acidifier-2.0 rinses with recharging the protein suede fiber ionic positive (+ve). Hydrator-3.3 works multi functionally when hydrating level and dwell time is fully optimize to work out stiffness, redistributing of the fugitive leather constituents and purging out foreign contamination. Fatliquor-5.0 rejuvenates and imparts leather with softness and suppleness when dry. Protector-S+ imparts non-stick surface to shield against sticky soiling and enhances the finger writing nap with a silky feel. Note: The mentioned product suffix number denotes its pH value in this holistic approach to suede water-damage restoration. The iso-electric point (pI) of suede averages pH 4, water averages pH 7. Between pH 7 and pH 4 there is an ionic difference of 1000 (one thousand) times. Foreign pH influences below the pI charges the protein fiber ionic positive while above the pI causes the protein fiber to shift ionic negative. The ionic leather constituents and the protein fibers behave like magnets, like poles repels and denaturing suede to rawhide. Cleaner-3.8 is replace with Degreaser-2.2 for degreasing as in Kit S5.dr. For fine lamb and kid suede, treat it as nubuck (Kit N3.ws) using nubuck Brush-2 / Eraser-4 instead.
Instruction:
Dry soil removal:
Note: Use the suede Brush-3 at a slant angle to avoid scratches on fine suede, otherwise use nubuck Brush-2 and Eraser-4 as found in Kit N3.ws
1. Remove surface soiling with suede Brush-3 and exfliolate nap with Eraser-5.
Wet Cleaning:
1. Clean with Cleaner-3.8 using suede Brush-3 and/or Eraser-5 and towel extract until it shows clean.
Rinsing and pH Balancing:
1. Apply Acidifier-2.0 saturating the entire surface for an even appearance, towel extract and allow natural dry.
2. Erase wick-up residue with Eraser-5 prior to hydrating.
Hydrating:
1. Apply Hydrator-3.3, saturating the thickness of the suede to an optimum level with moisture oozing out when gently pressed between fingers and thumb.
2. Cling wrapped it for up to 72 hours dwell time with regular top up for redistributing the leather constituent.
3. Removes cling-wrapper and allow natural drying for foreign contamination to wick out.
4. Erase with Eraser-5 when crispy dry.
5. Inspect for satisfaction either repeat or proceed with fat and oil replenishing.
Fat and Oil Replenishing:
1. Apply Fatliquor-5.0 and redistribute with foam brush until saturation.
2. Repeat application each time water contents evaporate until fully saturated.
3. Allow natural drying for extra softness.
4. Erase wick-up residue with Eraser-5 prior to protection.
Non-stick, Rub-Resistant Protection:
1. Shake well, mist spray Protector-S+ evenly and brush-in, when dry brush re-nap for a finger writing effect.
Product Content and Description:
Leather Doctor® Cleaner-3.8 (250ml)

Hydrator-3.3 is a waterbased pH 3.3 leather-safe hydrator. It is a fatliquor preconditioner with multi functional abilities. Surface application is primary to check for even surface tension free of blotchiness prior to fatliquor replenishing. Structural application will require saturating to an optimum level with moisture oozing out when gently pressed between thumb and fingers. The multi functional abilities include: a) to check for surface tension for an even appearance free from blotchiness prior to fatliquor replenishing. b) To plumps, relaxes and separates crushed, shrunk and stick together fibrils for manipulating away-unwanted creases and wrinkles. c) To rectify alkaline overexposure areas by facilitating colloidal water movement to redistribute the leather constituents from surrounding areas. d) To activate the dormant dyestuff within the leather structure for color refreshing. e) To facilitates colloidal water movement within the inter-fibrillary spaces for wicking foreign soiling particulates to resurface. f) To stabilize, pH balance and charge the protein fiber below its iso-electric point (pI) ionic positive to hydrogen bond with the ionic negative fatliquor more effectively. This universal Hydrator-3.3 is for all leather types including pigmented, aniline, vachetta, nubuck, suede, hair-on-hide and woolskin.
Leather Doctor® Fatliquor-5.0 (250ml)
Fatliquor-5.0, a micro emulsion of fat, oil and water is an anionic charged pH 5.0 fatliquor for rejuvenating all leather types. It relaxes coarse breaks, creases and wrinkles enhance suppleness and prevent cracking. It softens the leather with stretchability, compressibility and flexibility, while enhancing its rip tensile strength greatly. It is for replenishing the original fat and oil that diminishes thru sun-bleaching, ageing, heat and alkaline overexposure or cleaning. On application, the water-encased molecule breaks free when hydrogen bond attraction takes place between the fat and oil with the protein fiber. The excess free water content wicks out leaving a breathing space behind for leather natural transpiration. The fat plumps the leather with fullness from easily collapsing into creases and wrinkles during stress or flex, while the oil lubricates the fibers so that they slide over one another smoothly like millions of inter-connecting hinges. Thus helps to keep leather at its optimum physical performance and prevent premature ageing. This universal Fatliquor-5.0 is for all leather types including pigmented, aniline, vachetta, nubuck, suede, hair-on-hide and woolskin.
