I have never used your products but I found information on the carpet cleaning bulletin boards and went to your forum and was intrigued! I have a leather recliner that a customer needs us to clean. Attached is a photo. I wondered if you could recommend the products and procedure I would follow to do this. I have a leather cleaning kit but it is from Interlink and only used it once. Please email me with a price list and which products you would recommend. Thanks in advance for your help!

Leather type probably is Aniline more than Semi-Aniline.

Typically aniline leather would have more head oil/grease penetrated problem as picture shows.

And probably the whole headrest need a new topcoat to even out the stain damaged topcoat during the stain removing process.

So bear in mind; this is a topcoat refinishing job (minus the dyeing process if possible).

And not just a cleaning job.

I need to know the possibility to work from the reverse suede side; which is more effective, faster and safer to the finish; then I will provide you with the technique to remove it.

You may need to add the suede Brush-3 and the suede Eraser-5 to the Aniline Care Kit

Roger, there is no zipper, we will have to do this from the top

This is hair oil from an elderly man who sat in the chair all day. Attached are a few closer pictures, hope they help.

This is not just an oil and grease removal job, but a refinishing as well as this picture shows; degreasing is a messy job and is recommended to be done away from the customer’s home; as this pictures shows the stages from before during and after result.

You must have the stamina to deliver the result from #1 to picture #3, otherwise do not touch it.

Note: You may need to send me a sample to confirm the leather type (either from the sample attached or slice from under partially removing the staples from the dust cloth). This is to make sure that the refinishing finishes matches the original prior to degreasing the stain.
