SOHO Restoration Hardware Leather Sectional

Hello, I have a SOHO leather section from Restoration Hardware that was purchased around 5 years ago. Until this year it has held up well. We regularly clean it using the Restoration Hardware leather cleaner, but in the past 6 months it's really started to deteriorate - crack/tear forming, creases in the leather, discoloration, etc. I don't know the exact leather color/type other than it's a SOHO Restoration Hardware sofa. The leather has a more matte finish (it's not glossy), and we want to maintain the matte finish. The quickly forming crack in the leather (#4 below) is my biggest concern.

Have a comparison of the unexposed area (the back or bottom) to determine the corrective cleaning and conditioning needed to bring back close to original suppleness and appearance.

When the primary fatliquor (fat and oil) and secondary wax effect diminishes and sun fading takes effect such discoloration is common.

Creasing is the shrinkage of the leather as the primary fatliquor dries up. Sunlight and UV lights fade all aniline dyed leathers, however Hydrating sufficiently may reactivate some dormant dyestuff to migrate and re-distribute to the surface.

Leather is an amphoteric material, so any alkalinity will denature the leather, it will need to be pH balanced to be ionic positive (+ve) prior to ionic negative (-ve) charged or hydrogen bond with Fatliquor-5.0 (pH value 5.0). Only when the leather regains its suppleness that bonding repair is recommended.
