These process takes about an hour and fifteen minutes mainly by the dwell time.

The longer it dwells the more it remove without damages to the old pigmented leather finishing.

Hi Roger:

Just wondering what to do with a ballpen mark on my white lamb leather jacket?

Drew

Dear Drew,

Welcome to the forum.

In most cases, lamb (napa) leather jacket is usually absorbent to a degree.

As for lamb leather, partial dissolved ink usually is re-absorbed back further into the leather.

Further attempt to remove will cause the white color to be partially removed too.

So, removing ball-point ink on lamb leather requires a color and top coat touch up in most cases.

Matching color will be napaColor74™ mix and match with napaTopM57™.

Procedure steps are as followed:

Step 1: Determine whether color can come close to match existing color.

Step 2: Recreate a similar ball point ink stain on a hidden area, best if you can remember the brand of the ball-point pen.

Step 3: Remove with ink7.7™ according to instruction.

Step 4: Sticky residue has to be removed with cleaner3.8™ to be followed by rinse3.0™.

Step 5: Partial color removal needs touch-up with matching color and topcoat.

Hope this answer your question.

The longer you delay, the more difficult will be the removal as it penetrates further into the leather.

See the attached pictures, these blue ballpoint ink removal from white lamb leathers are without color touch-up.

Can you tolerate the result to be acceptable?
