Redo, take picture #6 and work only on this entire seating panel only for a test.

Step 1: Use prepClean4.4, with the same technique as for any aniline leathers by allowing a longer dwell time too - scrubbing using leatherEraser4 during application and before it dries up.

Step 2: Cleaning up all residues with clean3.8 > rinse3.0.

Step 3: Hydrating with hydrator3.3 - spray and foam brush to spread and penetrate it sufficientlly damp (thumb test).

Step 4: Lay facial tissue paper and spray rinse3.0 eliminating air bubbles between the leather and the tissue, thereafter add other dry heavy duty absorbent paper on top.

Step 5: Cover it with clear plastic; you may want to insert an aluminum foil between the wooden frame and the leather.

Step 6: Leave it overnight.

Step 7: Remove the plastic covering, still leaving the aluminum foil intact put a towel on top and leave for fast drying (perhaps a blow fan).

Step 8: Leave it overnight too, save time.

Step 9: Peel off the tissue paper take a picture and post it - we will go from there!

Note:

Other possibilities if the mark does not go away in this testing may be due to the followings:

1. Alkaline Residues - that need acidification to neutralize it by using acidifier2.0.

2. Uneven Surface Tension - that need surface wetting agent to breaks it up by using surfactant3.6

Do you have some pictures while the leather is in the wet stage before dry.

What are the products the customer have used on these chair.

Is there a history to these stains, how did it come about and any failed attempt to it.

I need some clues to solve this mystery stain.

#1) prepClean4.4 on right side only where stain exist.

These mysterious stains retard penetration with a surface tension as compare to its surroundings.

It could be a pH phenomenon due to alkaline residue and an acidifier2.0 may help if this is the case.

The objective is to remove these stains from within the leather structure.

It’s removing these stains “from deep within the leather structure rather than merely off the leather surface”.

Depending how deep these stains have gone in, the products have to reach these stains into the leather structure.

The used of prepClean4.4 at picture #1 is to work into the stain leather structure to remove this mysterious stain.

hydrator3.3 will help to penetrate the leather structure, separates the dried fibrils and relax them.

So as to facilitate colloidal water movement within the leather structure hopefully to move these foreign contamination through capillary motion during the wicking process.

When the stain can be seen as in picture #5, it has to be further worked by hand massaging (forget about the general staking, but concentrate mainly only at the stain) to make it shift before allowing it to dry (otherwise cover it up with transparent plastic cling wrapper overnight) and continue to work without letting it dry until the mark disappear while the leather structure is continuously been hydrated to allow sufficient effective water colloidal movement.

That is continuous working through the transparent plastic cling wrapper to prevent evaporation until these stain disappear.

Hope this sets the objective to overcome this mysterious stain problem.

Lets see how the stain disappear while the leather is worked on while it is still damp.
