Vachetta leather often behaves just like litmus paper.
When the water has alkalinity or a pH value of more than 7 it will turn darker, as pH value goes up so does the darkening.
Vachetta leather has a pH value of less than 3.
When water darkening is treated with VachettaPro-1.2 > Acidiffier-2.0 system it will revert back the watermarks darkening effect.
To reduce stiffness of the leather - Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system is highly recommended to prevent pre-matured aging.
