Hello
I have a Chanel vintage beige soft lambskin push lock bag
Whenever I use a leather cleaner on it, it stains the leather.
There are several spots all over the bag too
Do you have any leather cleaner you would recommend for this bag?
Thank you!

>>> Whenever I use a leather cleaner on it, it stains the leather.

A pure-aniline have a very fine finish like AnilineTop-21N

It has to be further protected with a tactile silky-feel surface conditioner like Protector-S or S+.

The reason it has a blotchy appearance is due to the sun or UV fading.
There are two ways to improve the fading, the safest technique is to activate the dormant dyestuff from below to resurface. Dryness of the leather of its original fatliquor (fat and oil) content also contributes to the fading effect or lost of color intensity. With this Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system the appearance would be improved to a greater extent. Color refinishing is another option.

Another contributing factor is that the leather is too dry of its original fatliquor content. As the leather dries its percentage of fat and oil contents will drop from the original 14%. By saturating the leather with enough Fatliquor-5.0 it will reduce ingress of water content, thus less of a staining effect.

As I mentioned above, just like our skin with pigmentation, made more obvious from color fading.
