Roger we want to restore this sectional and keep it as original as possible. It is faded and worn but I was able to get a little color to come back where I test cleaned and hydrated it between the cushions. When you get the swatch let me know what dye we should order and how much? Original color is Eggplant not black.

Let us know how you want us to proceed.

3-21C I test cleaned and hydrated that small area just above the swatch in between the cushions and dried it. It appears that a lot of color came back.

Good to see the reverse suede side and the edge of the sample as well. Will be able to tell what can be expected to achieve the best result back to the original.

Fatliquor-5.0 replenishing after Hydrator-3.3 will further intensify the color, test it and show result.

Scratches are easily smooth with Adhesor-73.
Fading of the aniline dyed leather crust is rejuvenated with Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system.
Fading also means that the crust is dry rot to a degree and becomes easily separated or exfoliated, thus the essential
Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 > Adhesor-73 system ensures leather structural integrity.

Color test looks too deep in color but the right color.
What can we add to lighten it?

Thickener-48:
The viscosity should be able to sustain until the next day, otherwise add to readjust the optimum application.

Add Aniline-76 (clear) to lighten to the desired intensity.
