Roger, My assistant removed the bottom leather cushion and soaked it to get the smell out. Well the smell is gone but it is now discolored like it browned out or the fabric dye leached into the leather while soaking. I'm sure she didn't keep the leather completely submerged with periodic gentle agitation and i think the darker areas are where it floated to the top or vice versa? Either way I hydrated and fat liquored it so it feels fine but is very brown and blotchy. Do you think we can restore it it?
I have soaked leather to remove stains and odors before and never saw what I see here now.

What was the solution used to soak the leather?

How long was the leather soaked?

I think we pre-sprayed with DUrine and then soaked in plain water

How does the suede side look?

Has the same dark areas in the same places. I think that's why I thought the fabric dye leached into it.

Reverse the working surface to the suede side and work on it to reduces damages to the smooth sides with Kit-S5.uk

To reduce the browning effect directly on the stain is by CleanUrine-1.5 > Acidifier-2.0 > KillUrine-2.1.
Make sure that the products penetrate through to the smooth side.
Any browning is exfoliated with SuedeEraser-5.

This process is repeated a few times until the browning moves upwards to the suede side.

Cellulose browning is reduced with a reduction-oxidation process with CleanTannin-3.5.

Let’s see your working process . . . and we can make adjustment along the way.
