Hey guys we have a 2008 f250 that has seen way to much sun. The windows have now been heavily tinted to prevent any further damage but the leather is now really dry and stuff. I have read that you suggest to start with the center console to get fami!iar with your process. I have attached the first set of pictures and the kit I have from you.

Looks like the last picture shows part the console, lets have an entire view and determine the soiling type and structure condition in more details, so that we can list down the scope of work before we proceed.

Meanwhile take a look at this Aniline (A.k) King Ranch Leather Problem Solving Matrix that we will take our queue from and in compound issues we have to combine them so as not to do unnecessary overlapping.

Here are a few more photos of the console. I thinking of degreaser 2.2 saturated in a paper towl and then draped over the top of the console to give the stain and soil some place to go.

You may use Degreaser-2.2 > Acidifier-2.0 system for this unknown stain and see if it response.

Test out only the smallest spot using a saturated cotton swab and work out the stain.

When the cotton swab show soiling change, saturate work until the cotton swab shows clean.

Any remaining residue of the stain may be left to dwell with the degreaser for a longer time for the stain to resurface and then rinse with Acidifier-2.0 using the cotton swab method.

You may also spot test on different soiling types and condition to see how the Degreaser-2.2 > Acidifier-2.0 system-1 response before doing the actual work.

General accumulative soiling removal is performed with the Prep-4.4 > Clean-3.8 > Rinse-3.0 system-2 and you may repeat the same methods for a comparison which system performs a better result.

Other known stain when positively identified is done according to the Leather Problem Solving Matrix.

Note that the Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliauor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 system is the end of the continuous wet system and the leather should not be left to completely dry up prior to Fatliquor-5.0, otherwise the existing cracks becomes more obvious. Repeat! To control the existing cracking conditions remember not to let the leather completely dry without the Fatliquor-5.0.

Let’s see some pictures how the test response, before the actual application.
