View Full Version : Bicast - Meltzer- Very worn welts,
Roger, this lounge cushion is in good shape except for the welting around it. We cleaned, hydrated and fat liquored. Then applied Impregnator several times after it dried. It is very rough and I want to repair it.
How should we proceed?

1- Remove remnants of the finishes clean by Razor-60 or equivalent.
2- Sanding with a Dremel mini grinder for easier control to smooth out the roughness.
3- Adhesor-73 used.
4- Primary ‘opaque’ matching Micro-54
5- Secondary ‘transparent’ matching Aniline-76
6- AnilineTop-76G (gloss or satin) to match.
7- Protector-B/B+ to reduce wear now and during routine or periodic care
Roger, under closer inspection, I the welt was made out of vinyl, it looks like fabric where the top coat is worn off. Can I fix this with your products?

Use Bond-3D to disguise the fabric texture prior to Adhesor-73.
