Used Prep 7.7 to remove dye transfer on white leather bag and the leather now has a pimple effect where the Prep 7.7 was applied. 495449554956

>>> What did I do wrong?

Did you do an absorbent test to the leather finishes?
Does it pools on the surface or does it seeps through the finishes and darkens?
What is the brand or make of this purse?
Are the dye stains still there or removed?

Answer the above or more information and I will provide you the tips to eliminate the defect back to the original.

You will smile again!

Hi Roger, I had to register with a different username, I couldn't get into the site with my farefinta ID.
Liquid beads on the surface and does not appear to seep through, the finish doesn't darken. The dye transfer is still there, the purse brand is Bally, Switzerland.

>>> has a pimple effect

Pimple effect is smooth out by using an iron setting on the lowest heat and slowly increase to have the best effect over a waxed paper.

>>> The dye transfer is still there

Did you know how the stains do come about?
Could it be a wrong stain identification?
Dyes stain derived from plant and vegetable will need d’Tannin-3.5 instead.

Anyway, I posted about the white Bally handbag with the bumps on it after trying to remove the dye transfer.
I ironed it with wax paper as you suggested and that solved the problem so thank you for the advice.
I don't know what caused the dye transfer, it looks blue like blue jean dye.
I think I will just dye the purse now.

Note:

Migrating dyestuff my resurface through the new finishes unless it is the same color as the dye transfer!
