hi.

i just got a chanel medium flap bag heritaged from my grandmother.
however the bag is in a very bad condition, the leather feels very rough and dry. the bag also has peeling problem and scuff, the bag also scratch badly.
and it seems has been dyed/painted before, the dye/paint is easily soiled other lighter colour material. it will leave black marks if i put it on my beige sofa. i wanna know if this bag can be save and how can i restore the bag. and also how can i remove remaining dye/paint on the bag.

thank you.

Tips:
You may want to edit the pictures with a number and description for easy reference.

>>> i wanna know if this bag can be save

Yes this bag can be saved!
You can do it yourself or send it to me is an option.

>>> and also how can i remove remaining dye/paint on the bag.

Use Stripper-2.3 that comes with the Kit-A7.cl

>>> and how can i restore the bag.

Use this Aniline (A.c) Chanel Leather Problem Solving Guide as reference
And finishes restoration by using this Leather Doctor Kit-A7.cl

>>> in a very bad condition, the leather feels very rough and dry.

Dryness is due to general shrinkage from lack of original fatliquor.
A fatliquor moisture reading may reveal less than 3% from the original of up to 14%.
Roughness is experience from the stiff cracked edges and will need to relax its roughness with Hydrator-3.3 prior to Fatliquor-5.0

>>> the bag also has peeling problem and scuff, the bag also scratch badly.

Peeling may be from previous repairs.
Scuff and scratches is repair to smoothness with either Bond-3D in extreme cases or mild with Adhesor-73

>>> and it seems has been dyed/painted before, the dye/paint is easily soiled other lighter colour material. it will leave black marks if i put it on my beige sofa.

If painted it should be stripped clean to the leather crust with Stripper-2.3.
Crocking or color rub-off is dye/painting without sealing topcoating.
This will not happen when the Aniline-76 transparent dyestuff is sealed with its matching AnilineTop-76 gloss topcoat.

Let me know your decision and we can go further from there.
