Roger, this client would like us to change the color from brown to black. The construction allows us to dismantle all sections, so we can thoroughly get at all areas of the leather. What are your thoughts of changing the color? there isn't a swatch to remove and it would be difficult to get a sample.

Adhesor-73 > Aniline-76 > AnilineTop-76 Gloss/Satin system will return to “Full Aniline”.

Easier to work without any surface to surface contact, otherwise the finishes tends to stick together and will rip off once separated when dry.

Dark brown would be a better choice and coating by layers will still produce almost close to black, unless it is for decorating matching purposes.

This is the typical aniline dyed leathers with a urethane topcoat – similar to AnilineTop-76G/S, however redyeing will follows the sequence system described above.

Notice that it depressed or compressed and this surrounding spots may feel still, if so may leads to crack. Need to take a look at the reverse side as well and finishing removed too to see what system have been done. If repair is done with heat curing there is a tendency that the fatliquor is dried out and may leads to cracks more than other areas.

The lighter colored cracking shows dried out of the fatliquor rather than wearing of the finishes from friction rubs. The folding lines also suggest that the leather looses its suppleness. Hydrator-3.3 will improve the folding or creases and brings back the color to the lighter colored crack lines. Fatliquor-5.0 follows to replenished up to the optimum 14% fatliquor moisture level will return the suppleness back to the leather equalizing its surface

When the cushions are put back make sure they are cured for at least 48hrs and having a heavier Protector-B+ will prevent the freshly color not to stick together.
