Ink Remover-7.7) It's developed for Auto leathers and all other Pigmented leather types. This aqueous high viscosity leather prep has a pH value of 7.7. It works by dwell-time allowing its superior penetrating, lubricating and suspending power to do its work. It’s designed to strip foreign embedded soil contamination between the leather grains and aged old conditioners and protectors to the original OEM finishes. Stripping included the unwanted aged, old and yellowed silicone protector without the cloudy effect. It is also used as stains remover for; Dye transfer stains from new blue jean, ink prints and newsprint; And accident with the common nasty ballpoint ink. Note: There may be instances where the stain may not response as this product is design to limit damages to the leather finishes. To remove solvent based ink stains like Permanent Marker use Degreaser-2.2 as the first step. The types of ink stain will determine whether it is easy or difficult to remove from leathers. The safety aspect of removal will depend on leather absorbency, as non-absorbent leathers are the safest to remove from. Because stains stay on non-absorbent leathers unlike semi-absorbent and absorbent leathers that absorb the stains. So it is more likely to remove the finishes along with the stains on these penetrated stains. Permanent markers are probably the most difficult to remove as it may contain the insoluble micro-pigment with sticky resin that adds to its permanency. It’s unlike the easier to remove ballpoint-ink with only soluble grease and ink. And it is easier to remove recent ink stains that are not completely dried out too. The method to remove these stubborn inks is to allow dwell-time for penetration, lubrication and suspension with gentle agitation. As finishes with poor wet rub fastness will suffer physical damages with too aggressive a rubbing. It is common to repeat several cycles of penetration, lubrication, suspension, agitation and extraction to remove those with carbon or micro-pigment component. However for stubborn ballpoint ink, it is wiser to let it dwell overnight to have the product works for you with a safer more effective satisfactory result. Bleaching dyes of aged old ballpoint ink stain is the last option only for non-absorbent pigmented leather types with leather Bleach-10.3 Instruction: 1] Apply, spread and agitate with horsehair brush. 2] Allow 10 to 30mins dwell-time or longer overnight. 3] Extract suspended soiling with Cleaner-3.8 More details on Ink and Dye Stain Removal see this link: http://www.leathercleaningrestoratio...ead.php?t=4594 Leather Doctor® Cleaner-3.8 It's developed for Auto seat and all other Pigmented, Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck and Suede leather types. This is a pH 3.8 all purpose leather-safe anionic cleaner that is particularly effective in emulsifying oily soils and in suspending particulates. It cleans by penetrating, lubricating and suspending soiling safely and effectively through gentle chemical reaction. As its pH value works in perfect harmony with all leather constituents that include the tanning agent, preservative, fatliquor and dyestuff. Instruction: 1] Identify, inspect, dry soil removal prior to application. 2] Spray evenly and agitate with horsehair detailing brush. 3] Extract suspended soiling with dry towel. 4] Then rinse until towel shows clean to a healthy squeak with Rinse-3.0. Leather Doctor® Rinse-3.0 It’s developed for Auto seat and all Pigmented, Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck and Suede leather types. This is a pH 3.0 aqueous leather-safe rinse to neutralize harmful alkaline and perspiration residues. It’s for stabilizing and strengthening leather constituent pH chemistry integrity. And cationizing (+ve) protein fiber below its isoelectric point to increase hydrogen bonding prior to anionic (-ve) Fatliquor-5.0. Instruction: 1] Spray and agitate with horsehair brush. 2] Extract suspended soiling with dry towel until it shows clean to a healthy squeak. 3] Follows with a choice of non-stick, rub-resistance leather-scent buttery feel or scentless draggy feel protector. Optional: 1] Hydrate perforated, cracked and worn leathers - use Hydrator-3.3. 2] Rejuvenate to soften and strengthen these panels for suppleness - use Fatliquor-5.0. Leather Doctor® Hydrator-3.3 It’s developed for perforated panels, crack and worn leathers and other absorbent leathers like Micro-Pigmented, Aniline, Nubuck, Suede, Hair-on and Woolskin types. This is a pH 3.3 aqueous leather-safe hydrator. It’s for hydrating dried, stiffed or shrunk leathers (to separates the crushed, stick together fibrils and relax them) prior to Fatliquor-5.0. And it’s also used for facilitating colloidal water movement within the leather structure capillary motion during the wicking process. That will cause suspended soil particulates to be moved to the leather surface to be extracted with towel while damp and erase with Leather Eraser-4 when dry. Instruction: 1] Spray soaks evenly into cleaned leather. 2] Accelerate saturation - work on the reverse side, micro cracks, needle holes or perforation. 3] Option for even saturation is to cover with absorbent tissue paper and wet thoroughly then seal it up. 4] Allow a minimum of 4 to 24 hours of dwelling until the leather is fully hydrated, relaxed, evenly wet out or stain dispersed. 5] Unwrap, extract and saturate with Fatliquor5.0 to rejuvenate for softness and strength while the leather is moist. Leather Doctor® Fatliquor-5.0 It’s developed for Auto leathers and all Pigmented, Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck, Suede, Hair-on and Woolskin leather types. This is a pH 5.0 anionic charged micro emulsion fatliquor leather rejuvenator. It’s for replenishing original fatliquor that diminishes thru sun-bleaching, ageing, heat and alkaline exposure or alcohol cleaning. It penetrates and lubricates the leather fibers so that after drying they will be capable of sliding over one another smoothly. Besides softening the leather with stretchability, compressibility and flexibility, fatliquor enhances its rip tensile strength greatly. Thus relaxes coarse breaks, creases and wrinkles to provide drapes, suppleness and prevents cracking. It helps to keep leather at its optimum physical performance and prevent premature ageing. Instruction: 1] Shake well, foam brush or spray and ensure even absorption into the leather. 2] Accelerate penetration - work through the reverse side, micro cracks, needle holes or perforations. 3] Drive-in surface excess to a squeaky feel - use Rinse-3.0. 4] Eliminate coarse breaks and creases - stretch it crosswise while damp. 5] Achieve extra softness - natural slow drying is preferred. 6] For desired softness - flex, stake or stretch it when dry. Leather Doctor® Leather Scent-B It’s developed for Auto leather and other leather types including the Pigmented, Aniline and Oil Pull-up Nubuck. It’s to impart a non-stick, rub-resistance protection with a soft natural “buttery-feel” with a classic leather scent. It’s non-film forming facilitating a breathable barrier essentially to shield the detrimental effects of sticky soiling including the nasty ballpoint ink. And for helping to release those tenacious dye-transfers stains especially on light colored leathers easily without resorting to unnecessary color refinishing. Its natural buttery-feel protection increases the leather resistance to wet and dry rubs, thus reduce stretch, scuff and abrasion. And it reduces friction squeaks that wear the finishes when leather rubs against leather during movement. Or friction that wear the finishes caused by getting in and out of auto especially the driver’s seat. Note: To reduce sheen and scent add Buttery Feel-76. Instruction: 1] Identify, inspect and dry soil removal prior to application. 2] Shake well, mist spray and spread evenly with a foam brush. 3] Or spray and wipe with absorbent towel for quick easy care. Leather Doctor® Buttery Feel-76 This product is equivalent to Leather Scent-B; except it is scentless and has a duller appearance. Leather Doctor® Draggy Feel-79 This product is equivalent to Buttery Feel-76; except it’s duller (matte) and imparts a “draggy-feel” for better grip especially on steering wheel.
