Default Zebra Skin Rug - old and in need of repair and softening...

    Greetings!
    From: Charlotte, N.C.
I have an old zebra skin rug in need of repair and softening...can you please advise me how I can purchase the items shown on your web page for renewing the leather and repairing the rips in my zebra skin rug?
    Thank You,
    Jeanette Stock

    Softening:
Picture #3 shows the leather looks like mud-cracking.
It is the drying or diminishing of the original fatliquor that result in cracking.
Fatliquor replenishing it will return the leather to its desired suppleness with softness and strength.
It is first done with hydrating to relax the stiffness prior to fatliquor replenishing it.

    Repairing:
Repair is done with leather bond after the leather return to its intended suppleness.
This is like holding a finish jigsaw puzzle with a patch from the back; but to do it more aesthetically, the technique is to use the fiber from the leather itself with the Leather Bond-3D similar to fiber glass fabrication. We will go into details when you have the products.

    So here’s the recommended Kit

    Leather Doctor® Hair-on-Hide – Rip Repair & Standard Care – Kit H7

We will send you a PayPal invoice. . .
