It's for all Pigmented, Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck and Suede leather types.
This is a pH 2.2 high viscosity aqueous formulated leather degreaser.
It’s primarily for degreasing leather of penetrated oil and grease stains from skin and hair contact.
It’s also used in assisting in the removing of solvent based stains like permanent marker, paint and nail-polish.
Oil and grease based stains like: crayon, wax, ballpoint ink and lipstick.
Dye-transfer stains from blue jeans, ink prints and newsprints.
Product packing sizes are available in 60ml, 250ml and in Quart.
    Email info@leatherdoctor.com for prices.
    Inspection:
Assess the severity of the penetrated grease or oil problem by checking if it’s through the reverse side.
When oil or grease shows through, it is more effective to remove from the reverse suede side.
Depending on depth of penetration; and thickness of the leather structure; several attempts may be necessary as each wicking process brings out the suspended soil particulates to the surface.
It’s to be extracted with towel while damp and to be erased off when crispy dry.
    Instruction:
1] Identify leather types and dry soil removal prior to application.
2] Shake until cloudy gel, apply and agitate with leather, nubuck or suede brush and or leather Eraser-4.
3] Let dwell 10 to 30 minutes or before it dries for complete soil penetration, lubrication and suspension to occur.
4] Extract suspended soiling with dry towel.
5] Then remove remaining residue with Rinse-3.0 to a squeaky clean; for reduce bleeding use Acidifier-2.0 instead.

Leather DoctorŽ Prep-7.7 (a.k.a. Ink Remover-7.7): for Pigmented leather types.
This is a pH 7.7 aqueous high viscosity leather preparatory cleaner.
It works by dwell-time allowing its superior penetrating, lubricating and suspending power to do its work.
It’s developed to strip foreign soil accumulation to its original finish.
And it's also used as stains remover for:
Grease based ink stains like ballpoint ink.
Water based ink stains like stamp pad ink.
Dye transfer stains like blue jeans, leather, ink print and newsprint.
    And remove unwanted silicone shine.
Product packing sizes are available in 60ml, 250ml and in Quart.
    Email info@leatherdoctor.com for prices.
    Note:
There may be instances where the stain may not response as this product is design to limit damages to the leather finishes.
To remove solvent based ink stains like Permanent Marker Degreaser-2.2 helps.
The types of ink stain will determine whether it is easy or difficult to remove from leathers.
The safety aspect of removal will depend on leather absorbency, as non-absorbent leathers are the safest to remove from.
Because stains stay on non-absorbent leathers unlike semi-absorbent and absorbent leathers that absorb the stains.
So it is more likely to remove the finishes along with the stains on these penetrated stains.
Permanent markers are probably the most difficult to remove as it may contain the insoluble micro-pigment with sticky resin that adds to its permanency.
It’s unlike the easier to remove ballpoint-ink with only soluble grease and ink.
And it is easier to remove recent ink stains that are not completely dried out too.
The method to remove these stubborn inks is to allow dwell-time for penetration, lubrication and suspension with gentle agitation.
As finishes with poor wet rub fastness will suffer physical damages with too aggressive a rubbing.
It is common to repeat several cycles of penetration, lubrication, suspension, agitation and extraction to remove those with carbon or micro-pigment component.
However for stubborn ballpoint ink, it is wiser to let it dwell overnight to have the product works with a safer more effective satisfactory result.
Bleaching dyes with Bleach-10.3 is an after option only for non-absorbent pigmented leather types.
    Instruction:
1] Apply, spread and agitate with horsehair brush.
2] Allow 10 to 30mins dwell-time or longer overnight; follows with towel extraction.
3] Remove remaining sticky residue with Cleaner-3.8.
4] Then rinse until towel shows clean to a healthy squeak with Rinse-3.0.

    Leather DoctorŽ Prep-4.4
It's for Aniline, Vachetta, Nubuck, Suede and all absorbent leather types.
This is the leather-safe milder version of Prep-7.7 with a pH value of 4.4.
It’s high viscosity; designed to be painted on neatly; with a foam brush onto the leather.
It works by allowing sufficient dwell-time; to penetrate, lubricate and suspense foreign soil contamination; prior to extraction with towel.
It’s is used to strip foreign soil contamination prior to refinishing.
    Also as stains remover for:
Grease based ink stains like ballpoint ink.
Water based ink stains like stamp pad ink.
Dye transfer stains like blue jeans, ink prints and newsprints.
Product packing sizes are available in 60ml, 250ml and in Quart.
    Email info@leatherdoctor.com for prices.
    Note:
There may be instances where the stain may seem not to response; not realizing that as it is suspended; it’s being reabsorbed by the porous leather structure.
This phenomenal will require the work of Hydrator-3.3 to disperse or wick up during the drying process.
To remove solvent based ink stains like Permanent Marker use Degreaser-2.2 as the first step.
The types of ink stain will determine whether it is easy or difficult to remove from especially absorbent leathers.
In most of these penetrated stain removal; the topcoat is removed in the process and need to be replaced; with matching topcoats.
Except nubuck and suede which has no topcoat to deal with.
    Note:
1] Degrease penetrated oil and grease stains – use Degreaser-2.2.
2] To reduce absorbency wet out leathers with Cleaner-3.8 prior to application.
    Instruction:
1] Apply by pad or foam brush avoiding smears or blotchiness for even appearance and agitate with leather, nubuck or suede brush.
2] Let dwell 10 to 30mins or longer overnight; follow with towel extraction.
3] Remove remaining sticky residue with Cleaner-3.8.

It's for non-absorbent pigmented leather types only.
This powder bleach becomes pH 9.9 when mixed with hot water to a creamy paste to bleach dyes stains without affecting the color pigment.
Compound dye stains other components (carbon, grease and shellac or varnish binder) have to be removed prior to bleaching the remaining dye residues.
    Example:
Ballpoint and Stamp Pad Ink – use Prep-7.7 (a.k.a. Ink Remover-7.7) thru Cleaner-3.8 then Rinse-3.0.
Note: Not suppose to be used on leather without a non-absorbent finish as it will denature the leather structure - use at your own risk!
This product is available in 30gm bottles.
    Email info@leatherdoctor.com for prices.
    Mixing Instructions:
The powder Bleach-9.9 has to be mixed into a creamy paste to be applied onto the dye stains so that it remains on top of the surface, otherwise penetrating onto the leather crust cause denaturing to the leather with a yellow stain. This is done by using non-metal tools to mix with added hot water. Advanced formula includes adding Prep-7.7 for a longer more effective suspending and bleaching effect.
    Test:
Test finishes absorbency strength with Hydrator-3.3 (soak a paper-rag cut out and place over stain for 30mins); if it darkens void the bleaching.
Perforated and stitching holes are to be avoided too.
    A) Standard Mix:
A.1] The approximate ratio mix is Bleach-9.9 [3] to Hot Water [1].
A.2] For example, weight 9gm of Bleach-9.9 into the empty plastic bottle, then add 3gm of Hot Water using the pipette and stir it up to a creamy paste.
    B) Advanced Mix:
B.1] Bleach-9.9 is first mixed with Prep-7.7 and thereafter hot water is added to mix it to a whitish creamy paste.
    B.2] The ratio by weight is Bleach-9.9 [1] + Prep-7.7 [2] + Hot Water [2].
B.3] Example of the mix by weight in the bottle may start with Bleach-9.9 [10gm] + Prep-7.7 [20gm]; stir well then add Hot Water [20gm] using the pipette, stir again and leave for 10 minutes or so for it to gel to a whitish creamy paste prior to application.
    Technique:
The paste is applied onto the stain, preferably use a cut out paper-rag to place on top; this helps the released stains to be absorbed by the paper-rag instead.
Check every 2 hours to a maximum of 6 hours to see the effect of the bleaching.
    Precaution:
Use bleach at your own risk, if the finish becomes absorbent (with a darkening effect) stops the bleaching immediately. Clean off sticky residue with Cleaner-3.8 follows with Rinse-3.0 until a squeaky feel. Avoid physical rubbing which may damage the finish during the bleaching process. Blotting action and light agitation using horsehair Brush-3 is recommended.
    pH Neutralization:
Neutralize the area with a soak of Acidifier-2.0 with a cut out paper-rag and leave to dwell. Change paper when becomes soiled and repeat with double the bleaching time (e.g. a 6 hours bleaching would require a 12 hours neutralizing time).

    Leather DoctorŽ Ink Remover-7.7 (a.k.a. Prep-7.7)

Dye transfer stains from blue jeans, ink prints and newsprints.
    Note:
There may be instances where the stain may not response as this product is design to limit damages to the leather finishes.
To remove solvent based ink stains like Permanent Marker use Degreaser-2.2 as the first step.
The types of ink stain will determine whether it is easy or difficult to remove from leathers.
The safety aspect of removal will depend on leather absorbency, as non-absorbent leathers are the safest to remove.
However for stubborn ballpoint ink, it is wiser to let it dwell overnight to take advantage of dwell time chemical reaction that will produce a safer more effective satisfactory result.
Bleaching dyes of aged old ballpoint ink stain is an option after Ink Remover-7.7 and it’s only for non-absorbent pigmented leather types with leather Bleach-10.3.
This product is available in 7gm and 30gm bottles.
