Default Aniline Wax Pull-up - I have the exact couch on the left of the home page picture..

I have the exact same couch on the left side of the picture on the home
How do I get it to look like the right.

I tired using mother leather cleaner but it just seemed to absorb right into
the couch. It was only a small spot.

I tried wiping it down with a damp cloth and it also absorbed and made the
    spot rough.

I even tried a little Pledge spray and again it just absorbed.

How do you clean that sort of couch???

Also WHAT TYPE of leather is it. I am assuming that it is full grain vegeatable
tanned leather. That is what I got from doing some google research.
    Am I correct?

    Please help.

This is the Chrome-Tanned Aniline leathers that have an emulsion wax effect infused into the leather structure to give a pull-up characteristic to the leather-structure and also the natural waxy sheen to the leather-finish.

For added gloss a Topcoat Aniline-79Gloss is applied over Adhesor-73 when restoration work is performed as the after picture shows.
