The client is concerned about restoring the scuff marks.
How to Restore Scuff Marks to a Two-Tone Designer Prada Bag?
I believe the scuffs are mainly found on the black secondary color portion.
And need to be refinished with a matching color black with its matching topcoat.
The closest color type is to use Antique-26 which provides a translucent coverage to hide the scuff.
The topcoat would depend on whether the leather finish is non-absorbent or semi-absorbent.
For non-absorbent finish use Topcoat Pigment-56 (gloss, satin or matte to match).
For semi-absorbent finish use Topcoat Micro-72 (gloss, satin or matte to match).
This is the recommended procedure:
Step 1 – Prep clean concentrating on the black areas and feather out.
Use Prep-7.7 > Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.
Step 2 – Dry prep to erase wicked up residue with fine sanding if necessary.
Use Leather Eraser-4 > 1200-1500 sandpaper.
Step 3 – Fine spray adhesion promoter only to area designated for new color.
Use Adhesor-73.
Step 4 – Fine airbrushing the secondary color – black.
Use Antique-26 (matching custom black)
Step 5 – Topcoat to match.
Use either Topcoat Pigment-56 or Micro-72.
Step 6 – Non-stick protection to reduce scuff from dry and wet rubs.
Use Leather Scent-B.
