This looks like “Aniline Wax Pull-up Leather”.

A test is best to confirm if the leather turn lighter in shade when stretch or scratch.

And warming it up with finger rubbing, blower or touch up with d’Scuff94 will rectify the lightening effect.

It is good to know what the make-up of an aniline wax pull-up is before we remove the stains, so that we know how to restore both the structure and the finishes since most of these stains are penetrated.

And certainly stains removing will be directly affecting the structure and the finishes in some ways that need restoration.

Bear in mind the following leather constituents and finishes in progressive sequence if restoration is necessary.

1] Penetrating Aniline Dyestuff – anilineDye21.
2] Leather Structure Softener – fatliquor5.0
3] Wax Effect – waxEffect95.
4] Adhesion coating – adhesion73
5] Top Coating – anilineTop54HG (high gloss)
6] Surface Conditioner – leatherScent’D (draggy)


A] Now the individual stain removal:

1] Picture #2 Stain
This looks like someone place a cup of liquid on the leather.
It is either the liquid that makes this stain mark.
Or it could be the heat from the cup that causes the darkening effect, a characteristic effect common to aniline wax pull-up leathers.

If it is cause by liquid stain, to remove use leatherEraser4 > razor60 > hydrator3.3 > fatliquor5.0 > waxEffect95 > leatherScent’D.
If it is cause by heat from the cup use hydrator3.3 > fatliquor5.0 > waxEffect95 > leatherScent’D.


2] Picture #3, #4 & 5 Stain
Dry soil removal first with leatherEraser4 then treat according to the soiling type:
Oil and Grease Stains – use prepClean4.4 > clean3.8 > rinse3.0.
Protein Based Stains – use d’Protein11.0 > acidifier2.0 > clean3.8 > rinse3.0.
Blood Stains – use d’Blood9.9 > d’Tarnish1.3 > clean3.8 > rinse3.0.
Tannin Stains – after prepClean4.4 > clean3.8 > rinse3.0 > d’Tannin3.5.


B] Overall Cleaning Procedure for the entire ottoman:

1] Dry Soil Removal special attention to the stain – use leatherEraser4 > razor60.
2] Prep Cleaning – use prepClean4.4 > clean3.8 > rinse3.0.
3] Fatliquoring System – use hydrator3.3 > fatliquor5.0 > rinse3.0
The emphasis here is using the soaking hydrator3.3 overnight to wick-up all foreign soil particulates to be caught by thin absorbent paper.
It will also reactivate the dyestuff to give a richer tone to the leather.
Fatliquoring evenly further saturate the color deeper in shade.
Uneven appearance can be further even out by airbrushing with fatliquor5.0.
4] The wax effect needs to replenish to restore original wax effect characteristic – use waxEffect95 as per instruction.
5] If a new protective top coat is desired apply adhesion coat over waxEffect95 prior to anilineTop54HG.
6] Aniline Wax Pull-up leather surface conditioning – use leatherScent’D.

Note:
Subsequent periodic maintenance – use waxEffect95 > leatherScent’D.

Tried to even out by airbrushing with fatliquor but still looks the same. What should I do to correct this issue?

You may have to repeat what you have done, these are soil lines waiting to be removed.

This is after hydrating overnight. Ring looked worse. Then I cleaned and rinse again.

Determine if this is a soil line or a stain line.

Soil line comes the the wicking up of foreign particulates from the leather structure, which I thought it was.

Since you have re-cleaned and may have used the leatherEraser4 when crispy dry to erase off the soil line and its still there.

The other possibility may be stains derive from the wood frame, dust cloth or stuffing.

As the wavy lines is consistently closed to the wooden frame.

If the stains come from other than the leathers and it looks brownish it might be "tannin" stains.

Test d'Tannin3.5 using a cotton swab at the darkest line "just a dot" and see if it response when dry.
