Default My bald noggin did this to my sofa

We've had this sofa for a couple years, and now I notice this spot:

Two things to know: 1. I'm bald. 2. I don't shave my head daily. So, a couple things the Haired might not think about: head oil (everyone has it, but mine is exposed) and stubble (like sandpaper at 1-2 days growth). I have to think that one or both factors caused the damage, because my wife's side is fine.

Anyone have advice on how to fix this, and how to prevent further damage?

    >>> how to prevent further damage?

A buttery-feel rub-resistant Protector-B (scentless) or B+ (leather-scented) helps prevent the lost of the secondary coloring. Products is found in this Kit-Ap3

I have the same exact problem, only my sofa is brown. Can I use the same products you recommended to Spatters, Roger? Cheers.
