We have these chairs that had severe oil spots. I was able to remove all of the oil for now. It has been cleaned and hydrated. What should we use to dye this. Any other recommendations?

What have you used to removed these oil spots?

1- Balance up the color difference with Aniline-21 (probably a mix of orange and yellow).
2- Use Hydrator-3.3 to redistribute the color evenly.
3- While still damp Replenish with Fatliquor-5.0 for suppleness when dry.
4- Dry preparation.
5- Refinishing with Antique-27 as an option to further even out the color difference and proceed with Aniline-76 for a final appearance.
6- Topcoat with AnilineTop-76G
7- Protect with Protector-B/B+

We are sending you a swatch for color match. Please call or email us when you get the sample so we can discuss how much of each dye we will need to make this repair.
Matching both Antique-27 and Aniline-76?
Yes please
Your Email decision is a quart both for Micro-54 (opaque) and Aniline-76 (transparent) - correct?
Yes, we need one of each. Its a common color so we can use the extra in future projects.
PayPal invoice send on 26-Apr-18, still waiting for your confirmation.
3-4 A Chair after we dyed it the first time, color is off and too much micro54 so it didn't look right.
3-28A Finished chair
These chairs were finished 6 months ago but improperly dyed so we completely re-stripped and refinished again. We used Aniline 21 to bring back as much color as possible then Micro 54 to even up damaged areas with several colors then used Aniline -76 reddish tone and then a dark tone with airbrush and sponge to get the 2 tone effect. Final topcoat with Aniline 76.
3-28B close up of wrose arm, dramatically improved but not perfect.
My recommendation for color matching is to have it done in-house for better control.
