black leather jacket gets half covered in carpeting glue(?)
unfortunately i left the jacket lying by a baseboard on the carpet in one of my rooms. there's been a lot of rain in Detroit lately and some water seeped through along the baseboard through the carpet. i am assuming the glue on the bottom of the carpet seeped through the carpet and got on the jacket. i have no idea what else could have caused this weird yellow stuff to be all over the jacket, the carpet is dark grey. there's nothing in the area of the room that is yellow.
anyway so any place there's yellow on the jacket, it's real stiff now. the jacket itself is an old beater, but it would be nice to possibly get some of this yellow stuff off. i'd like to do it on the cheap if possible.
any ideas? thanks a lot.
