    This is most likely an "Aniline"!

    Semi-Aniline is using an "opaque" pigment.

    Aniline is using a "transparent" dyestuff.

    Appearance for semi-aniline looks "cheap".

    Aniline is the "high-end" of leathers.

    Will examine your sample when I received it.
