Default Matchless jacket in Nubuck Leather - redying from blue to black

I have a dilemma I was hoping you may be able to help me out with.

I’ve been told you’re the best in the business.

Recently I purchased a Matchless jacket in Nubuck Leather.

It is a blue navy nubuck (doesn’t look as blue as it is in pictures).

I’d like to take it to a full black, but not a glossy black.

Same texture/finish quality as currently, but black.

Any recommendations on products to use?

Because it’s a leather, I had thought an oil leather dye might be appropriate.

But then it is Nubuck so maybe they aren’t relevant?

I’ve also heard of sprayable dyes for even coating?

It was very expensive for me and is now sold out.

So I can really only afford one go at this.

Any advice is very very much appreciated.

    Thank you!
