I have an Italian Brompton leather sofa from Restoration Hardware. I mistakenly placed a coffee mug on the arm rest and now it has a heat ring mark. Just wondering what the best way to remove this mark is. Thanks for your help

A leather rejuvenating system will even out the darkening appearance with Hydrator-3.3 > Fatliquor-5.0 > Hydrator-3.3 > EffectWax-8.6 > Protector-D system. In this series of process the scuffmarks will be reduce or eliminates as well depending much on the amount of EffectWax-8.6 and Protector-D.
Prior to the rejuvenating process surface soiling contamination is recommended to be removed with Prep-4.4 > Clean-3.8 > Rinse-3.0 system, otherwise surface soiling may interfere with the rejuvenating process.
You may note that the mentioned products suffix indicates their pH value that matches the pH value of the leather between 3 and 5 to be leather-safe in rectifying the mentioned problem.
Here is the Aniline (A.pw) Wax Pull-up Leather Matrix Guide (row D6 – Darkening Heat Damage) for your reference.
