Default 2005 Ford King Ranch – Recommend Care for Existing Condition.

In addition to the care products that you recommend for the 2011 BMW, I planned to purchase Leather Doctor Kit A3 – Aniline Leather Care Kit for our King Ranch.
Do you agree with my selection or would you recommend something else?

    >>> Do you agree with my selection or would you recommend something else?

Kit Aa3 is recommended for general care,
Kit A6.tc is recommended for topcoat damages,
Kit Aa7.cl is only for dye coating as an option as a last resort to camouflage undesirable stains after final inspection from structural restoration and topcoat damages repairs.

    >>> I wanted to share one more image, of the steering wheel, for the Ford King Ranch.

Kit A6.tc is recommended for the aniline trim, while the pigmented trim will require an additional Micro-54 colors (white, ochre and optional black to match) and sealed thereafter with MicroTop-54 gloss, satin, matte or dull.

Leather Doctor Kit Aa3 – Auto (Aniline King Ranch) Leather Care Kit
Leather Doctor® Kit Aa3, auto (Aniline King Ranch) leather care kit is an innovative leather-safe (pH 3 - 5) system designed for keeping leather interior at their highest level of appearance while maintaining their structural chemistry integrity and enhancing their suppleness with needle holes tear strength. Auto leathers are often under hot sun and those exposed to thermal heating during cold season dries out their fatliquor sooner. The first place to check for leather dryness is the stitching holes, if they are perfectly round the leather is healthy, dried out leathers will show signs of elongation or splits. The diminishing of the fatliquor will results in stiffness to the leather and when flexed or stretched during used will lead to mud cracks effects or rips first to the stitching holes. Periodic use of Hydrator-3.3 to hydrate the stick together fibers in these weak points prior to fatliquor replenishing with Fatliquor-5.0 will keep the leather supple and plump with increase tensile strength. Thus, reduce the premature ageing of the leather against stiffness, tearing and cracking. Protector-B+ imparts a non-stick rub resistant protection with a buttery feel that makes sliding in and out of seat smoothly. The rub-resistant abilities reduce friction noises that translate into less friction wear especially to the side bolster. Protector-D with its non-slip grip is design for the leathered steering wheel and the shifter knob. Periodic cleaning and rinsing with Clean-3.8 and Rinse-3.0 respectively to the steering wheel leather helps reduce greasy sticky soiling build-up. Removing of unwanted stains such as the common new blue jeans is accomplished with Prep-4.4. Note that the mentioned product suffix number denotes its pH value in this leather-safe holistic care system. This kit comes with reduced weight option to save on shipping thus the 250ml concentrate ratio such as Clean-3.8, Rinse-3.0, Hydrator-3.3 and Fatliquor-5.0 has to be cut or filled up with distilled water prior to use.

Leather Doctor Kit A6.tc – Aniline Leather Topcoat Refinishing Kit
Leather Doctor® Kit A6.tc, aniline leather topcoat refinishing kit is designed for topcoat repairs from friction wear, accidental scratch, scuff and abrasion to deteriorating greasy sweat stains. These topcoat damages are identified as white, dull or darkening stain from bare body contacts. Accidental whitish damages in most cases are free of soiling and direct AnilineTop-21G application with in between dry sanding rectifies most damages. Repairs to topcoat from daily wears that dulls will require a degreasing to remove penetrated rub-in soiling prior to topcoat application in a sequence process including Degreaser-2.2 follows with Rinse-3.0; Hydrator-3.3 follows with Fatliquor-5.0 prior to topcoat application. In a greasy and sweaty topcoat damaged areas especially to the headrest and armrest, a deep degreasing is essential follows with Acidifier-2.0 to stabilize the hydrogen bonding between the protein fibers with the other leather constituent like the tanning agent, dyestuff and fatliquor. This deep degreasing process is assisted by leather Eraser-4 in both the wet and dry cleaning process to remove soiling particulates off the leather surface. Hydrator-3.3 helps in the colloidal water movement bringing suspended soiling particulates to resurface through a dwelling and wicking process. Fat and oil is replenished by Fatliquor-5.0 in an emulsion form to penetrate into the leather structure. Once the fat and oil is hydrogen bond with the protein fiber, the water content breaks free leaving a breathing space for natural transpiration. The fat plumps the leather with fullness preventing the leather structure from collapsing during compressing and flexing while the oil lubricates the fiber from sliding smoothly over one another like millions of connecting hinges. Protector-B+ impart a non-stick, rub-resistant surface with a buttery feel helps reduce friction wear to the topcoat and extended a high level of appearance for a longer period of time. When the leather is contaminated with foreign soiling, it is essential to look at topcoat refinishing in a holistic approach. Note that the cleaning and rejuvenating products suffix denotes its pH value in this leather-safe aniline leathers topcoat refinishing system. This kit comes with reduced weight option to save on shipping thus the 250ml concentrate ratio such as Rinse-3.0, Acidifier-2.0, Hydrator-3.3 and Fatliquor-5.0 has to be cut or filled up with distilled water prior to use.

Leather Doctor Kit Aa7.cl – Auto-Aniline Leather Dye Refinishing Kit

Leather Doctor® Kit Aa7.cl, auto-aniline leather dye refinishing kit is design for color refinishing from the simple sunlight fading to the severely body oil, grease and sweat damages. Most severely penetrated, prolonged and neglected stains show a darkening effect with probable finishes damages affecting the structure, dyestuff and topcoat. When contaminated stain feels sticky, it may be a sign of leather denaturing to rawhide. When sign of color is transfer to a damp white towel, it may indicate alkaline overexposure. When leather is stiff, it is a sign of diminishing fat and oil. Protein fiber, the main component of leather is amphoteric while the other constituents (tanning agent, dyestuff and fatliquor) are not and contamination that causes shifting of the protein pH value weakens the leather constituents’ ionic attraction. Restoration to both the leather structure and the finishes would include the following sequence of procedures. Remaining contaminated damaged finishes if any, may be removed for an even appearance with Stripper-2.3. Contaminated alkaline soiling is removes with Degreaser-2.2, a waterbased (pH 2.2) multifunctional degreaser that emulsifies greasy contamination besides controlling dye bleeding and strengthening the attraction between the ionic tanning agent and fatliquor. Deflocculated and suspended soiling is towel extract, thereafter rinse with Rinse-3.0 or further pH balanced with Acidifier-2.0 to a squeaky feel that prevents the leather from reverting to rawhide. Hydrator-3.3 relaxes stiff leathers and removes surface tension free from surface blotchiness prior to fat and oil replenishing. Fat and oil is replenished with Fatliquor-5.0 to rejuvenate the leather for the desired suppleness when dry. Custom redyeing commences prior to topcoat refinishing. Protector-B+ imparts a non-stick rub-resistant protection with a buttery-feel that shield against sticky soiling and reduce friction noises. Note that the mentioned product suffix number denotes its pH value in this holistic leather-safe aniline leathers dyestuff and topcoat refinishing system. This kit comes with reduced weight option to save on shipping thus the 250ml concentrate ratio such as Acidifier-2.0, Hydrator-3.3 and Fatliquor-5.0 has to be cut or filled up with distilled water prior to use.
