Please describe your cleaning process and what products you have used.
Roger
I used cleaner 3.8, rinse 3.0, hydrator 3.3 & fatliquor 5.0.
Picture #5.
The stain (grey color) has to go, work with leather Eraser-4 while dry to see how it response; work on the dark mark as well to even out the contrast.
To remove completely - use Prep-4.4 and scrub with leather Eraser-4 follows with Cleaner-3.8 > Rinse-3.0.
See some pictures prior talking about how to lighten the darkening effect as the next phase.

Is the "grey stain" mark gone?
Next step is to even out the contrasting darkening effect with d'Tannin-3.5; then continue with hydrating and fatliquor replenishing to follow to soften the leather.

Our other major concern is the cracking. What can we do to correct/repair the cracking?
For aesthetic, it’s better to leave it alone, that’s my opinion.
This is naked leather – there is no way to hide the repairs.
Anyway, repairs can be done with a combination of Stucco-90 + Leather Bond-3D + Aniline Dye-21 + Micro Pigment-54 to achieve as close a color as you can.
